What You Need to Know

  • Due to recent changes in Turkish Import Laws, please be aware of the following:

    • No Tax-Free Threshold: Unlike in the past, there is no tax exemption for low-value items. All international shipments, regardless of value (even 1 EUR), are subject to customs tax.

  • Customs duties typically range from 30% to 60%, depending on the product category and origin.

  • The buyer is solely responsible for any charges or procedures required by the Turkish customs.

  • Shipments held in customs may require direct communication and payment by the recipient to the relevant authority or courier.
